AboutThe Role
We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Representative to support the growth of our Interiors and Hospitality Logistics Divisions, with a focus on window treatments, such as roller shades, and the FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) lifecycle. This entry-level sales role is responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities through cold outreach, lead sourcing, and initial discovery conversations.
You will play a key role in building the top of the sales pipeline and will collaborate closely with sales, project, marketing, and estimating teams.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and outreach campaigns to generate new leads
- Research and identify potential clients, projects, and market segments
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on fit, budget, and timeline
- Schedule introductory meetings for senior sales staff or project managers
- Maintain accurate customer and lead information in CRM software
- Partner with marketing and estimating teams to support proposal development
- Stay updated on product offerings, market trends, and competitors
- Represent the company professionally at networking events and industry expos
- Demonstrate and uphold our TEAM values in all internal and external interactions
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer outreach (B2B or construction/design industries preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter with persistence, resilience, and a strong work ethic
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills
- Comfortable using CRM software such as Hub Spot or Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Customer-service driven with the ability to respond quickly and effectively
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year
