Service Technician

• Perform quality control function in production area as required to assist other QC personnel to test assemblies; to test, maintain, and/or repair testing equipment; or conduct final product tests as required.
• Participate in quality control function with regards to troubleshooting systems in cooperation with engineering, mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
• Provide technical assistance to customers via telephone communication to trouble shoot systems, to make recommendations and/or instructions with regards to service, procedures, or replacement parts.

• Participate in set-up and installation of finished product at customer location, to include the training of customer personnel in the operation, general maintenance and minor repair of the assembly.
• Perform start-up of assembly following installation at customer location, to include the noting of any system irregularities, problems or malfunctions that need to be addressed and making appropriate recommendations to the customer.
• Work with other service personnel to solve customer related problems and/or to retrofit existing equipment as required.
• Contact internal departments and/or personnel, and outside vendors to solve installation, service, or repair problems in the field.
