• Safely drive a vehicle within and participate in safety training and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records.
• Loading/unloading freight as required by customer; assist with loading/unloading when needed.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder drug test and a Ryder road test.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to follow written and/or oral instructions; ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years.
• DOT physical required.
• Must have verifiable driving experience in similar equipment (6 months in past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years).

• Route:
  Local, home daily.
• Truck Type:
  Box truck – 16', 22' & 26'.
• Equipment:
  Pallet jack, lift gate & hand truck;
  Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful.
• Freight:
  Touch – Auto Parts.
• Deliver solo to OH, KY, IN, and WV.
• Hours:
  
  Schedule Monday – Friday; no weekends; start time between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
• Pay:
  Solo miles $0.37 per mile with ~1600 miles/week;
  Solo stops $13.00 per dealership stop with 20 stops/week;
  Solo stops $20.00 per warehouse stop with 7 stops/week; paid training; 40+ hours per week.
