Description
Louisville Tile Distributors of Cincinnati is seeking a Warehouse Manager for a team of 1-2. We offer competitive pay and no weekend work! The Warehouse Manager provides leadership for Warehouse Associates, provides excellent customer service, is champion for process improvement, works towards exceeding metrics including KPIS and audits, and execute all policies and procedures related to warehouse activities. The Warehouse Manager must also be able to fulfill the duties of a Warehouse Associate.
This position is M-F first shift. Applicants must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.

- Forklift Experience and able to complete Certification Class within 7 days of hire
- Computer skills:
Outlook, Excel, Warehouse Management System - High School Diploma
- Ability to lift and carry up to 90 lbs. in accordance with safety training

- Ability to review, inspect and hold subordinates accountable through documented notifications
- Ability to reprimand and discipline employees within the guidelines of corporate policies
- Scheduling of staff and overtime oversight
- Performance reviews
- Responsible for oversight of damaged material and loss prevention
Weekly staff meetings - Solicit feedback from team to foster growth and success as a team and individually
- Ensure all warehouse employees have correct certifications, including power industrial equipment
- Responsible for evaluating and monitoring the onboarding training process for current and new employees
- Lead a team of warehouse associates
- Picking, packing, receiving, and shipping orders – will call or delivery
- Document and inspect product for damage, shade variation, and shipping accuracy
- Departmental communication within the branch
- Communication with Corporate Departments, including Purchasing
- Reporting all issues, outside of daily branch activity, to Regional Warehouse Managers
- Attend all warehouse meetings:
Monthly Regional, Monthly Warehouse Manager and ability to travel for annual Warehouse Manager conference - Inventory Control:
Weekly cycle counts, vendor returns, adjustments, obsolete management, expired items, and consolidation - Maintenance and cleaning of warehouse, equipment, building, and grounds through utilization of a weekly checklist
- Mange and review weekly reports to identify issues, correct, and train team members
