Cycle Instructor - Instruct group exercise classes according to the guidelines set forth by the YMCA of the USA and the Director of Group Exercise.

What You'll Do
* Conduct group exercise classes and provide assistance in a safe, enthusiastic, thorough, courteous and professional manner.
* Be a positive YMCA role model with an enthusiastic attitude
* All scheduled classes will be held, and sub coverage secured
* Classes will start and end on time
* Greet participants and learn their names
* Take class attendance
* Familiarize yourself with our Upace Group Ex technology which includes but is not limited to sub tracking system, class contact feature, class cancellation
* Check and respond in a timely fashion to your YMCA email
* Identify your participants' limitations and adapt your classes and/or provide modifications accordingly
* Properly and safely utilize all equipment associated with your class
* Promote a healthy lifestyle
* Attend advanced training workshops that are offered throughout the year by the YMCA of Greater Brandywine (or another co-op member YMCA)
* Participate in special events and open houses throughout the year
* Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
