Extended Day Teacher

Chesterbrook Academy seeks an Extended Day Teacher to support our K-8 students in a safe, engaging after-school environment. In this role, you'll supervise children, lead enrichment and play-based activities, and provide homework help that complements our academically rich curriculum. You'll foster a nurturing, inclusive space that reflects our child-centered culture, while collaborating closely with teachers and families. Responsibilities

• Supervise students in before- and after-school extended day programs
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities and enrichment
• Support students with homework and academic reinforcement
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families and school staff
• Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing standards
• Monitor student attendance and maintain program records
• Assist with snacks, transitions, and student dismissal procedures
