Skilled Professional for CAD Drawings
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled professional to prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications. The role involves functioning as a quality checkpoint for all CAD drawings, performing Telecom OSP Records pre-posting and final posting utilizing IDDS, and working closely with field engineers. You will prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies and generate work prints for construction-ready work packages.
LocationThis position is based in West Chester, PA, a vibrant community known for its historical charm, cultural attractions, and proximity to major urban centers, making it an ideal place to live and work.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
- Prepare CAD drawings using customer proprietary applications.
- Function as a quality checkpoint for all CAD drawings.
- Perform Telecom OSP Records pre-posting and final posting utilizing IDDS.
- Work closely with field engineers to prepare complete engineering drawings and associated documentation in compliance with company and client policies.
- Generate work prints for construction-ready work packages.
Qualifications include:
- Strong working knowledge of Telecommunication Drafting using Telecommunication's proprietary applications.
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of design methods in telecommunications.
- Working knowledge of IDDS, ICGS, FIMS, PRS, Windows Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Good computer, communication, and visualization skills needed to work from engineering sketches and documents.
- Detail-oriented.
- Minimum of five years' experience in Telecommunication outside plant records drafting.
