Electrical Mechanical Assembler

The Electrical Mechanical Assembler reads and interprets assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to build and wire products according to documented procedures. This role assembles and aligns components using a variety of hand and power tools, connects cables and wiring to specifications, and ensures all products meet quality and documentation standards.

Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine component parts and the correct assembly sequence.
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components, positioning, aligning, and fastening them to backplanes or units using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
  • Connect cables and wiring according to specifications and schematics to ensure proper electrical functionality.
  • Verify that all products are built and tested according to documented procedures and quality standards.
  • Complete all required forms and production documentation accurately and legibly.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and adhere to established work instructions.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures while performing daily tasks.
  • Maintain a consistent work pace to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Handle components and tools with care, demonstrating good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to a safe and orderly work area by following safety guidelines and proper tool usage practices.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and wiring.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions consistently.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling small parts, tools, and wiring.
  • Demonstrated ability to work consistently and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and tools as needed for the role.

  • Experience with electrical or mechanical assembly is beneficial.

Environment

This position is based in a well-lit, temperature-controlled facility designed to support precision assembly work. You will primarily work on a daytime schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The role involves regular use of hand tools and power tools to assemble and fasten components, as well as working with wiring and cables at a workbench or workstation.

The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, allowing you to focus on accurate assembly and consistent production throughout the shift.

This is a Contract position based out of West Chester, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
