Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting an experienced Swiss CNC Programming & Precision Manufacturing Specialist for one of our valued client partners in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This full-time, onsite opportunity is designed for an accomplished CNC Swiss professional with strong experience programming, setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing Swiss-style lathes used to manufacture tight-tolerance medical device components.
The selected professional will work extensively with Star Swiss machining technology, developing CNC programs, establishing tooling and cutting parameters, improving cycle times, supporting production personnel, and validating manufacturing processes through first-article inspection and process verification.
This position offers potential annual earnings of $95,000–$120,000+, along with overtime, substantial shift differentials, weekend premium opportunities, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Program, set up, and optimize Star Swiss CNC lathes for precision production.
- Develop manufacturing processes for complex, tight-tolerance medical device components.
- Create, modify, test, and optimize CNC programs using applicable CAD/CAM software.
- Establish efficient machining sequences and production processes.
- Select appropriate tooling and establish feeds, speeds, cutting parameters, and offsets.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming, setup, tooling, dimensional, and machining-performance issues.
- Analyze production performance and implement improvements that reduce cycle times while maintaining quality.
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
- Support CNC machinists and production personnel during machine setup and production runs.
- Validate new and revised manufacturing processes through first-article inspection and process verification.
- Maintain required dimensional tolerances and surface-finish requirements.
- Machine precision components using materials including stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, plastics, and specialty alloys.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and production personnel to resolve technical challenges.
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives involving productivity, quality, tooling, and machine performance.

Candidates with comparable Swiss-style CNC platform experience are also encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of CNC Swiss programming and setup experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently program and set up Swiss-style CNC lathes.
- Experience programming Swiss-style equipment utilizing Fanuc controls.
- Experience with Star Swiss equipment or comparable Swiss machining platforms.
- Strong blueprint and engineering-drawing interpretation capabilities.
- Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T.
- Experience with Part Maker, Mastercam, CAMWorks, or comparable CAD/CAM software.
- Advanced knowledge of tooling selection, feeds, speeds, cutting parameters, and Swiss machining processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and machining optimization capabilities.
- Understanding of dimensional inspection and quality-verification methodologies.
- Ability to support production personnel during setup and active production.
- Ability to work onsite in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
- Direct programming experience with Star SR-10J, SR-20J, SR-20
RIV, and/or SV-20 equipment. - Extensive Fanuc CNC control experience.
- Advanced Part Maker, Mastercam, or CAMWorks proficiency.
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, plastics, and specialty alloys.
- Experience developing new Swiss machining processes from engineering drawings through production validation.
- Strong first-article inspection and process-verification experience.
- Demonstrated success reducing CNC cycle times and improving machine utilization.
- Experience producing complex components requiring extremely tight tolerances.
- Strong collaboration experience with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams.
