Production Shift Lead

General Duties and Responsibilities 2nd Production Shift Lead 3p-11pm. Promote, implement, and monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures. Train as a backup Scheduler Assist in job interviews in adherence to company hiring practices. Support performance management of production staff. Plan, organize, and direct the activities of production associates. Evaluate associate efficiency and productivity by establishing performance standards and objectives.

Participate in scheduled performance appraisals. Prepare and distribute daily shift notes. Assist associates in goal setting and skill development. Recommend and administer disciplinary actions when needed. Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, reporting, tracking, timecard management and inventory control. Train and coach associates to ensure continuous improvement. Maintain quality standards by adhering to company protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure the availability of necessary supplies, equipment, and inventory for production. Oversee production workflows, address quality issues, and resolve operational challenges. Maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards. Oversee general plant maintenance, including building and machinery upkeep. Follow directives from the Plant Manager and President. #MON
