School Nurse, Long Term Substitute for 26-27 School Year

Educational Specialist - Certified School Nurse preferred Registered Nurses with a BSN Degree are encouraged to apply

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and hold a proper Pennsylvania certification for the position

Current PA Registered Nurse license
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification
CPR/AED certification

Background/experience preferred in first aid, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, critical care nursing, medical surgery nursing, and/or emergency room nursing

Knowledge of current Child Abuse Law

To follow the standard of member conduct as stated in the PA Code of Professional Practice and Conduct for Educators.

Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements.

Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.

Clearances required for employment:

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)

Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)

Federal Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)

Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release:
