What You'll Do
Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver hands-on, evidence-based nursing care to support our clients' physical, psychosocial, and overall health goals:
- Direct Clinical Care:
Deliver basic preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care tailored to adults recovering from brain injuries. - Early Intervention:
Proactively identify client health changes or medical needs and provide prompt, effective interventions. - Client & Family
Education:
Train clients and their families on health, wellness, and self-care strategies to prepare them for ongoing recovery and discharge. - Interdisciplinary
Collaboration:
Partner with therapists, families, physicians, and direct care facilitators to implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans. - Community & Appointment Support:
Accompany clients to medical appointments or assist with hands-on facilitator care across program locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensure:
Active Pennsylvania LPN state license (required). - Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a safe, acceptable driving record (required). - Clinical
Experience:
Background in brain injury rehabilitation or caring for chronically/catastrophically ill or injured populations (highly recommended). - Core Competencies:
Strong clinical decision-making, clear written/verbal communication, medical documentation skills, and reliable time management.
