Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location.;
Screen people entering the facility by following entry protocols, checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and directing visitors to appropriate areas.;
Conduct bag and/or package inspections and use screening equipment as trained, documenting prohibited items and following escalation procedures when needed.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site staff and contacting appropriate responders.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
