Security Officer- Nights

Position: Security Officer- Full Time Nights
Penn Medicine -  - Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and special patrols of hospital buildings, parking facilities, and grounds to deter criminal activity, identify hazards, and ensure the safety of all occupants;
Operate and monitor weapon detection systems in accordance with hospital policies and established safety protocols;
Utilize video surveillance technology (CCTV) to monitor hospital environments, detect suspicious activity, and support investigations;
Operate and support access control systems, including badge systems, visitor management tools, and secured entry points;
Emergency Response & Incident Management:
Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies including medical events, fire alarms, security threats, workplace violence incidents, and disaster situations
