** Your role*
* Backend engineer with hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture, along with exposure to BDD-based testing (Python Behave) and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Git Hub Copilot.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot

Contribute to API design, integration, and performance optimization across distributed systems

Participate in backlog refinement, solution design, and sprint deliverables

Collaborate with QA teams to support BDD-based test automation using Python Behave

Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD practices, and version control (Git Hub)

Leverage tools like Git Hub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality

Contribute to problem-solving, defect resolution, and production support as needed

** Your skills and experience*
* 7+ hands-on experience in:

- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture (REST APIs, service decomposition)

Experience with :

- Python,  Behave (BDD framework) or similar BDD tools and Git/Git Hub workflows

Understanding of API testing, integration patterns, and debugging techniques

CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices

Exposure to:
Git Hub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools

Building reusable developer utilities or accelerators (skills creation mindset)

Experience working in agile environments with strong collaboration across teams

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
