Senior Staff Accountant
This position reports to the Manager of Accounting and plays a key role in supporting month end close, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring billing accuracy. The Senior Staff Accountant will take ownership of core accounting processes, contribute to cross functional initiatives, and operate with a high level of independence and accountability. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable balancing hands on accounting responsibilities with higher level analytical and process improvement projects.
• Lead and actively participate in the month end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries, perform GL reconciliations, analyze accounts, and maintain supporting documentation
• Analyze and explain variances across client P and L accounts, identifying trends and potential risks
• Perform SOX reviews of billing files and invoice requests to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Serve as Finance point of contact for client Account team members and cross functional partners
• Respond to internal and external information requests in a timely and professional manner
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements across accounting and billing workflows
• Support internal and external audit requests, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
• Contribute to special projects and cross departmental initiatives as needed
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting systems required
• SAP experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3 plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
• Comfortable interfacing with employees across multiple offices and functions via phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Demonstrated initiative, ownership mindset, and problem solving ability
• Strong team player who is flexible and willing to support extended hours during close cycles when required

Compensation Range: $60,800 - $84,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
