The Automation Project Specialist provides comprehensive support to Equipment Specialists and Sales Representatives by processing and monitoring equipment orders through SXe, Salesforce, and Smartsheet.
Responsibilities- Review equipment orders for accuracy and completeness, including verification of resale pricing, cost calculations, and supporting documentation.
- Process equipment orders from receipt through completion, ensuring timely and accurate order entry.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to facilitate customer deposits and obtain necessary credit approvals.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable to manage vendor deposit invoices, final invoicing and customer billing activities.
- Generate work orders for the Dispatch Team to initiate equipment startup and installation activities.
- Monitor and run system-generated reports multiple times daily, including SXC reports, to track order status and identify issues requiring attention.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required during peak business periods.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or one to three years of related experience and/or training; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
This is a hybrid role with required on-site attendance. Candidates must be able to commute to the designated work location.
No relocation assistance will be provided.
CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $70,000 – $75,000 per year.
