Our client is a highly respected, privately owned commercial roofing contractor serving the Chicagoland market. They have built their reputation by tackling complex commercial projects that many contractors simply won’t pursue.

This is not a volume-driven estimating environment where you’re expected to churn through bids. Their projects require thoughtful analysis, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems.

You’ll be involved with a wide range of technically challenging work, including:

• Universities and educational facilities
• Government and municipal projects
• Manufacturing and industrial facilities
• Research and laboratory environments
• Food processing facilities
• Commercial and institutional buildings

These projects often involve detailed specifications, unique conditions, and demanding clients who expect precision.

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial roofing projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Coordinate with operations and project management teams
• Participate in project handoff and preconstruction activities
• Help identify project risks and opportunities before construction begins

• Commercial roofing estimating experience
• Knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and related roofing systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple bids simultaneously
• The EDGE experience is a plus but not required

• $100,000 - $140,000 Base Salary
