Freelance Videographer​/Editor

Overview

This role is ideal for a versatile videographer and editor passionate about creating engaging, fast-turnaround video content for paid advertising campaigns. The position centers on producing vertical videos tailored for Meta and other social platforms, with a strong emphasis on automotive and truck-based content. You will be responsible for both filming and editing, capturing installations, before/after features, and concise on-camera segments.

The work is ongoing, with regular shoots in West Chicago, IL, and requires a professional who thrives in a dynamic, feedback-driven environment. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and values authenticity and adaptability over heavily polished productions.

• Film and edit vertical videos for paid social media advertising, focusing on automotive and truck-based content.
• Capture installations, before/after features, and short on-camera segments during on-site shoots.
• Produce multiple video edits from each shoot, iterating content based on performance feedback.
• Ensure fast turnaround times for video delivery to meet campaign needs.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to adapt content quickly and effectively.

• Proven experience in both videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio of social media content.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to work on-site in West Chicago, IL on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; preference for candidates based in the Chicagoland suburbs.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in meeting deadlines.
