Part-time, 12 hours per week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings.

Wheaton Bible Church is looking for a teacher for the '26-'27 school year (9-months) to plan and implement an on-going program to teach 4-year-old children to love God, love others, and love learning.

• Provide day-to-day safe supervision of 10-20 preschool children.
• Follow and implement WBC Preschool Curriculum.
• Set-up and maintain a well-organized, safe, and attractive classroom.
• Develop a positive relationship with fellow teacher in the classroom.
• Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote development of self-esteem and self-discipline.
• Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family.
• Attend monthly class planning meetings.
• Participate in 15 clock hours of in-service training per year.

• Committed to holiness and developing your personal walk with God in order to model and lead others in their faith.
• If married, love your spouse as Christ loved the church. If you have children, disciple your children to know God and love Him.
• Pursue professional, personal, and spiritual development.

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• One year of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten or licensed day care center.
• Passion for teaching preschool age children.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to communicate effectively with parents, children, and other staff.
• Acceptance and agreement with WBC Statement of Doctrine and Faith and WBC Statement of Christian Lifestyle.

• $19.00 - 22.00 per hour
• 4 (half days) Paid sick/parental days per year.
