Location: West Chicago
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually (based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday

As a School Director
, you will lead a team of talented educators and support staff, ensuring high‑quality educational programming, operational excellence, and a positive classroom experience. You'll work under senior leadership in a collaborative and supportive environment

- Parents and guardians
- Teaching staff and support staff

- Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required
- Directors must have 60 semester hour credits, with at least 21 in ECE or Child Development and 3 in Administration
- Advanced knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Strong organizational and decision‑making skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations
- Commitment to professional development
- Proficient with technology, including industry applications, MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must meet all state licensing requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings
- Lead, develop, and retain a high‑performing team of educators and support staff
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and COA policies
- Drive enrollment growth through effective execution of the COA Experience
- Maintain quality care and curriculum standards
- Manage day‑to‑day operations using COA's processes, procedures, and policies
- Achieve performance standards outlined in the annual budget
