Desired Qualifications and Experience- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (Illinois)
- Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Previous experience working with elementary‑aged students preferred
- Proficient in conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing intervention plans
- Familiarity with special education laws, IEP process, and multi‑tiered systems of support
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering positive rapport with students
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
- Design and implement academic and behavioral interventions tailored to diverse learners
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students social‑emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that improve educational outcomes
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed
- Contribute to IEP/504 development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
