Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our growing supply chain team. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional with strong negotiation skills and a passion for supplier management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

The Procurement Manager will oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for assigned materials and services, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and operational efficiency. This position serves as a key link between suppliers and multiple manufacturing and technical locations.

• Partner with procurement and supply chain leadership to develop and execute sourcing strategies that support business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve supply security, quality, and cost competitiveness.
• Monitor commodity markets, industry trends, and supply chain risks to proactively address potential disruptions and cost impacts.
• Work closely with operations, technical teams, commercial functions, and supply chain stakeholders to support organizational initiatives and financial goals.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and expectations.
• Track procurement metrics and supplier KPIs, using data analysis to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier scorecards, and contract documentation.
• Collaborate with planning and production teams to understand demand forecasts and secure adequate material supply.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable business outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple facilities.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination of material requirements throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success in improving supplier performance, cost management, quality, and delivery metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain productive supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience using procurement, purchasing, or ERP software systems.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently while contributing to team objectives.

• Experience with SAP, SAP S/4
  
  HANA, or similar ERP platforms.
• Professional certifications such as APICS, CPSM, CSCP, ISM, or equivalent.
• Experience with in the chemical, coatings, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier development practices.
