Job Summary
Provides regional oversight expertise and direction on construction projects, including takedowns, digital deployments/replacements and capital improvements. Directly manages crew(s) and contractors to ensure delivery of results on time and at or below budgeted levels.
Job Responsibilities- Direct all operations relating to new build, rebuilt, relocation, and safety upgrades of advertising structures within the assigned region.
- Coordinate contract work for market upgrades.
- Hire, discipline, discharge, supervise, train, govern, assign, and coordinate capital work schedules of employees and subcontractors.
- Judge the competency of employees and subcontractors and assess their general fitness to work.
- Review, maintain, and implement safe work practices and compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct pre‑construction and on‑site evaluations of safety, quality, efficiency and other criteria essential to effective operations.
- Set targets and standards for productivity, safety, cost, regulatory compliance, inventory control, purchasing, etc.
- Correct unsafe conditions and evaluate and provide solutions for temporary or permanent repair.
- Initiate, evaluate, and implement new technology, methods, policies and procedures.
- Work closely with branch real‑estate and operations departments regarding new builds, rebuilding, relocation, and safety upgrades.
- Re‑prioritize construction schedules as needed due to equipment failure, operating problems, weather conditions, client needs, or other factors.
- Obtain quotes and make purchases of material and equipment as needed; provide budget estimates as required.
- Review final material selection for capital purchasing.
- Maintain accurate records of the fleet of vehicles and coordinate all necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with independent contractors and vendors, negotiating best possible rates.
- Serve as liaison between field and Vice President.
- Review crew time sheets for accurate reporting policies and procedures within Workday.
- Request, review, and approve expense reports in Concur.
- Coordinate with Vice President travel and work schedule for crew in the region.
- Review and advise inspectors when needed.
- Lead special projects and design applications for safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
Work ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction projects. Project Management experience preferred.
Skills- Ability to read blueprints and perform essential math skills.
- Management of construction projects at all levels, including administrative, estimation, supply chain, deployment, and site development.
- Leverage Project Management tools and knowledge to streamline construction projects and other tasks.
- Partner with multiple departments (Real Estate, Finance, Operations, etc.) and levels within the organization to accomplish goals.

Employee must sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day; complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands. Must lift and move items up to 15 pounds. Must see written documents and computer screens. Perform tasks in a temperature‑controlled office environment and in a construction environment, including climbing ladders and/or stairs and working at elevations from 10 feet to more than 100 feet, and lifting and positioning ladders and materials in excess of 85 pounds.
