We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated individual to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator
.

The Inventory Coordinator oversees the movement of packaging and raw materials from the plant and outside warehouses to support production schedules.

This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the flow of materials between the warehouse and the plant to ensure materials are available for production and communicate any changes accordingly.
  • Ensure inventory meets the demands and expedite/de-expedite materials to prevent shortages/overages.
  • Maintain the inventory database for the plant and outside locations in QAD.
  • Oversee cycle count adjustments and returns of materials from production.
  • Support co-packing operations by ensuring materials are available based on production needs.
  • Work with MRP Analysts on inventory movement and adjustments.
  • Participate in the annual fiscal inventory.
  • Special projects and other assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfy each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of inventory and/or logistics experience within a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Food & Beverage or Pharmaceuticals industry experience a plus.
  • Experience with MRP systems required; QAD and WISE preferred.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple tasks and projects with specific deadlines.
  • Solid time management skills with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-Starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work independently within a team environment are required.
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
BENEFITS & SALARY

The Jel Sert Company is committed to pay transparency and will provide further compensation information during the interview process. The minimum compensation for the Inventory Coordinator position is $24.00 per hour. The actual compensation to be paid will be determined upon an offer. Compensation is determined by a candidate’s experience, education, skills, training, and the internal equity within our organization.
