IMMEDIATE OPENINGS - HIRING 2 EXPERIENCED CNC SWISS PROGRAMMER / SETUP MACHINISTS
We have won substantial new work and are expanding our Swiss department. We are hiring two proven programmer/setup machinists now to support a strong backlog and increased production demand.
This is an opportunity to join a growing precision manufacturing operation with steady work, room to make an immediate impact, and substantial overtime available. This is not an operator-only position. You must be able to independently program, fully set up, prove out, troubleshoot, and optimize Citizen or Tsugami CNC Swiss machines.
Pay: $36-$50 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill

- - Take new jobs from print through program, complete setup, prove-out, first article, and stable production
- - Program Citizen or Tsugami CNC Swiss machines from engineering drawings and specifications
- - Select tooling, collets, guide bushings, and fixtures; establish feeds and speeds
- - Troubleshoot programs, tooling, finish, dimensions, and process variation independently
- - Optimize cycle time, tool life, quality, and production reliability
- - Perform first-article inspections and make offsets or program changes as needed
- - Create and maintain clear programs, setup information, and tool documentation
- - Work with engineering, quality, and production as we launch new work
- - Proven hands-on experience programming and fully setting up CNC Swiss machines
- - Citizen or Tsugami machine and control experience; experience with both is a plus
- - Ability to take a new part from print to a production-ready first article with minimal supervision
- - Strong knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds, offsets, tolerances, and process optimization
- - Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements
- - Strong troubleshooting, measurement, and problem-solving skills
- - Dependable, quality-focused, and ready to contribute in a growing, fast-paced shop
