Position Overview:
The Finisher will work in a plastics manufacturing environment, helping ensure molded plastic products meet quality and production standards. The position involves inspecting, trimming, finishing, and preparing plastic products for the next stage of production.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished plastic products for defects and quality issues.
- Remove excess plastic, flash, rough edges, or other imperfections.
- Trim and finish molded plastic parts using hand tools and/or production equipment.
- Perform visual quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and production procedures.
- Meet production and quality expectations.
- Work as part of a team to maintain production flow.
Ideal Candidate:
Manufacturing or production experience is a plus. Plastics manufacturing experience is helpful but not necessarily required. Must be dependable and have reliable transportation. Must be willing to work 5 days per week plus at least 2 mandatory Saturdays per month for overtime. Must be hardworking, motivated, and willing to learn. Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
