Quality Technician – Full‑time, West Chicago, IL. Salary $17.00–$22.00/hr final date to receive applications:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team in Carol Stream, IL. In this role, you will inspect parts and products to ensure they meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. You will perform inspections, maintain testing equipment, document results, and work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure only quality products are shipped to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on parts and finished products to verify quality standards.
  • Accept or reject products based on specifications, durability, and functionality.
  • Develop, complete, and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Perform testing and inspections on new and existing products.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and clean measuring and testing equipment.
  • Communicate quality concerns and inspection results with engineering, production, and management.
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials before shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using measuring and testing equipment.
  • Basic math skills, including fractions, ratios, and proportions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, vibration, and industrial materials.
  • Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and bump cap.
Schedule
  • Full‑time
  • Minimum 40 hours per week
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs
