Position OverviewBoost Auto is seeking an automotive enthusiast with strong technical acumen and a passion for problem-solving to join our growing team as a Technical Sales and Support Specialist. In this role, your primary focus will be serving our customers, providing knowledgeable, timely, and accurate assistance from product selection to installation and post-purchase support. You will help customers choose the right products for their vehicle, guide them through the installation process, and resolve concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
Your technical expertise will enable customers to make informed decisions and equip them with the resources they need for a successful installation. You will also play a key role in maintaining our high-quality standards by gathering and relaying customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
This is a hands‑on position where every customer interaction should reflect our commitment to service and product quality. You will work closely with our Engineering, Production, and Marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met at every stage.
As a Technical Sales and Support Specialist, you’ll join a team of like‑minded automotive professionals and receive comprehensive initial training on our products and your role, along with ongoing development to keep you current on new products and best practices.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
- Provide accurate pre‑purchase guidance and help process customer orders by phone.
- Manage customer order statuses and action on order updates and cancellations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with product installation, function, or quality.
- Gather and communicate detailed feedback from customers to internal teams to help improve product quality and usability.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our entire product portfolio to give informed recommendations.
- Serve as a product expert for new launches and provide clear, helpful explanations to customers.
- Manage projects and tasks that improve customer experience and strengthen our brand reputation.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain technical expertise and deliver consistent, high‑quality support.
- Consistently deliver service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Approach every customer interaction with patience, professionalism, and a problem‑solving mindset.
- Approach challenges with a solution‑oriented mindset, presenting potential resolutions with each concern.
- Meet project deadlines and follow through on commitments.

- College Automotive Technical degree (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in a related industry (Automotive, Customer Service, Technical Sales) (preferred)
- Strong automotive technical background (12v electrical knowledge required)
- General automotive mechanical knowledge and acumen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Background in technical writing (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
