Inside Sales Representative
North Star JCB currently has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative to support our machine sales coverage. This position is responsible for providing exemplary customer satisfaction to assigned accounts through the sale or rental of products and services offered by North Star JCB. The Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between North Star JCB and the customer.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities- The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales and building strong relationships with customers in the industry
- This role involves handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, providing product information, and closing sales
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
- Provide detailed product information, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Prepare and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Follow up on quotes and leads to convert them into sales
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
- Provide regular sales updates to management
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
- Other duties as assigned
- At least 2 years of inside sales support, and/or parts/service sales experience, preferably in the equipment sales or rental industry.
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the equipment industry
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise.
- Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
- Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
- Subject to noise and temperature changes.
