This is a full-time hybrid role for a Diesel Mechanic, based in West Chicago, IL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment operates smoothly. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining detailed service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, mechanical components, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively
• Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards in a mechanical setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate service records
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and capability to commute, as needed
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE Certification) and previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic are advantageous
