Premier Service is a family-owned landscape construction and maintenance company proudly serving the Chicagoland area since the late 1980s. We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Diesel Mechanic to join our growing in-house shop and support our expanding fleet.
Position SummaryThis role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to ensure safe operation and minimal downtime for our crews.
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary (based on experience) from $30.00 to $35.00

- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on trucks and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative services
- Complete repair orders and accurately document all work performed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
You will work on a diverse fleet, including:
- Kenworth T-800
- Kenworth T-270
- Ford F-750
- Ford F-350
- Chevrolet LCF
- Isuzu NPR / NRR
- Front-end loaders
- Bobcat skid steers
- Tractor trailers
- Light-duty trucks and SUVs
- 5+ years of mechanic experience
- Journeyman-level mechanic
- ASE certification preferred
- CDL-A preferred (not required)
- Ability to pass background and MVR checks
