Road Wrench seeks a skilled Mobile Fleet Diesel Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair for commercial trucks and trailers around Chattanooga, TN. In this 4-day workweek role, you'll handle preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, diagnostics, and emergency roadside repairs using a fully equipped service truck. You'll troubleshoot engines, brakes, electrical and aftertreatment systems while maintaining strict safety and documentation standards. Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers using a mobile service truck
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, electrical and aftertreatment systems
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards
• Respond to roadside service calls and minimize customer downtime through efficient troubleshooting
• Document all services, parts used, and findings clearly in work orders and digital systems
• Communicate professionally with fleet customers and dispatch to update status and recommendations
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized service truck and work area
• Support team members, share knowledge, and participate in ongoing technical and safety training
