We're a busy, warm household and will soon be a family of six. One parent runs a small business nearby, while the other is home full-time managing homeschooling and the day‑to‑day rhythm of family life. Our home is active and full of energy, but we aim to run a structured household and take pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Homeschooling has become a joyful but time‑intensive part of our daily life, and as our family grows, we're looking for dedicated, consistent support to keep the home in great shape while we focus on what matters most. We want our evenings to feel calmer and more connected, and that starts with having the right support in the first part of our day.
We are looking for someone who works quietly and confidently behind the scenes, who takes care of the details, and who we can trust and rely on over time. The right candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, respects our family dynamic, and feels like a natural extension of how our household operates.
On an average day, we are looking for help with upkeep tasks, meal prep, and laundry, but we will need someone who is happy to take on organizational projects, run some errands, and be available for back up childcare or a date night with advanced notice. We are a welcoming household that values communication, professionalism, and someone who knows when to work independently and when to check in.
WhoYou Are / What We're Looking For
You are thoughtful, grounded, and deeply organized — the kind of person who just gets it. You notice what needs to be done and find satisfaction in tackling it. You bring a natural sense of order, practical wisdom, and maybe even a few ideas we haven't thought of yet.
You know how to work alongside a family without disrupting the flow. When the home is in a learning session, you adapt. When the kitchen needs restocking and the laundry needs folding, you're already on it. You're detail‑oriented, proactive, and flexible. We are viewing this as an ongoing relationship that we want to invest in as we enter this new season of life.
The right candidate will feel that this is not just a temporary position, but a long‑term career. You are systems-oriented — someone who naturally creates simple routines and organization systems that actually stick, and you bring fresh ideas and practical wisdom that help a busy household run smoothly and feel calmer day to day.
