Overview
Hansen Talent Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the first line of helpdesk support for a growing organization.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for helpdesk support, delivering responsive, high-quality customer service
- Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral hardware
- Install and test new hardware and software for performance and compatibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workstations, VPN, and basic network connectivity
- Manage user access and troubleshoot issues within core systems (including Relius)
- Provide basic support for Windows servers and assist with VMWare environments
- Support and maintain the company phone system
- Onboard new employees by orienting them to systems, hardware, and software tools
- Monitor daily logs, complete checklist tasks, and maintain equipment inventory
- Provide basic user training and “how-to” guidance as needed
- Associate’s degree in a computer-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2+ years of IT helpdesk or customer support experience
- Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
- Basic knowledge of Windows servers, VPN technology, and VMWare
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred
