In this position you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities- Performing janitorial and maintenance task according to agency guidelines and expectations.
- Maintaining the grounds.
- Maintain and monitor inventory of all cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Perform minor repairs and upgrades on building and grounds equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and perform minor carpentry/drywall work to repair or improve facilities whenever possible.
- Review maintenance schedules and ensure agency vehicles receive timely service, inspections, and necessary repairs according to department guidelines.
- Train and oversee consumers with a vocational objective focused on janitorial and maintenance careers.
- Initiate and oversee preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment, facilities, and vehicles remain in optimal working conditions.
- Follow safety practices and actively participate as a member of the area s safety committee to ensure compliance with all safety regulations in the workplace.
- High School diploma and four years of experience in equipment, building, and grounds maintenance.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Good driving record required.

- Skilled trades experience (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC) preferred.
