What’s yours?
Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Performs preventive maintenance using a CMMS system and supports continuous improvement efforts. Must work safely, independently, and with attention to detail. Works 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with occasional overtime and call-in as needed.
What you'll do- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Use CMMS to manage and complete maintenance work orders
- Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and part catalogs for accurate repairs
- Support bi-annual facility shutdowns and occasional call-in maintenance needs
- Participate in lean/process improvement initiatives and suggest improvements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
- Experienced with CMMS or similar maintenance management systems
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following protocols
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
- Effective communicator and team player
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing frequent bending, squatting, and walking
- Comfortable working in noisy, hot, cold, or dusty manufacturing environments
- Normal schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Overtime and call-in work may be required
- Annual base salary range: $30 hourly
