This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool and Die Maker located in West Columbia, SC. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using various machinery and equipment. Daily tasks include operating manual and CNC machines, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, maintaining machining and assembly equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of fabricated tools.

Collaboration with design and production teams and maintaining a safe workspace are critical aspects of this role.

• Strong skills in machining, including operating manual and CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grinders
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD designs
• Experience in constructing and repairing complex dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures
• Knowledge of material properties and heat-treating processes
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical and tooling issues
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Certification or technical training in tool and die making, machining, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role or manufacturing environment
