About the Role

We are seeking an Inventory Lead to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Inventory Lead, you will be accountable for ensuring accurate inventory management, coordinating cycle counts, supporting receiving and outbound shipments, and directing team members on proper material handling, storage, and FEFO compliance. Your work ensures materials flow efficiently and accurately to support uninterrupted production.

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
  • Lead daily inventory activities including cycle counts, auditing, and FEFOdriven material staging
  • Train incoming employees in shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and warehouse documentation processes
  • Oversee material movements to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and SAP system entries
  • Support receiving, outbound shipments, and warehouse organization to maintain production readiness
  • Monitor warehouse conditions, including temperature checks, storage integrity, and allergen segregation
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to support loading, staging, and storage
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, labeling accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 1 year of inventory or cyclecounting experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • At least 1 year of forklift experience (sitdown and deepreach)
  • Ability to perform physical warehouse tasks, including lifting and operating equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory documentation
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations
  • Strong understanding of FEFO, allergen management, and material handling best practices
  • Experience training or onboarding warehouse employees
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross functionally
