• Plan and implement Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related shopfloor systems.
• Manage end‑to‑end lifecycle from concept through acceptance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to identify needs, troubleshoot, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration of MES technology on the shopfloor.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead progress meetings with production planners and conduct concept/review releases.
• Develop specifications, realize reports, and manage documentation critical to production.
• Manage supplier relationships, track open points, and support equipment connectivity.
• Conduct availability tests, trainings, open‑point tracking, final acceptance, and lessons learned.
• Operate in compliance with guidelines, standards, and regulations.
• Base location:
  Scout Motors, Blythewood, South Carolina – daily office attendance required.

• 4+ years in automotive production (body, paint, or assembly shop).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Expertise in production/shopfloor systems (Worker Guidance, Electronic Quality Management, Reporting, Pick‑by, Vehicle Identification, data collection interfaces).
• Ability to adapt to complex production & IT environments for operational efficiency.
• Basic knowledge of automation technology/PLCs and modern interface technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Autonomous working approach.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High School Diploma or GED required for all roles at Scout Motors.

• Experience with AI, Big Data analytics applied to shopfloor operations.
• Process optimization and efficiency gains via IT solutions.
• Experience with in the automotive OEM or Tier 1 sectors.

Full‑time exempt position. Base salary range: $100,000 – $125,000. Eligible for annual performance bonus.
