Millwright-Industrial Maintenance

Overview

Barnwell Tissue Solutions is seeking an experienced Millwright to support and maintain our plant's mechanical equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and installing equipment in a high-performance manufacturing environment.

• Work as part of a collaborative maintenance team across multiple trades.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, piping, hydraulics, and other plant equipment.
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use rigging and lifting equipment to position heavy machinery and components.
• Align gears, shafts, and belts to precise tolerances.
• Inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with operations, vendors, and leadership to resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation for parts, materials, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

• Minimum of 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with large-scale equipment, such as pumps, gearboxes, piping, and hydraulics.
• Proficient in reading P&, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience across multiple trades is a plus (e.g., electrical, pipe fitting, welding).
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred.
• Valid and Unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, crouch, twist, push/pull, and work at heights.
• Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery.
• Ability to see clearly at various distances (near/far, depth, peripheral).
