Position Description
Responsible for the safe, efficient and quality-conscious unloading and loading of bulk and packaged commodities to or from storage piles, railcars, and trucks. Assure the work being performed consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the supervisor, as well as published policies and procedures of Kinder Morgan.
Operates heavy equipment as directed to load trucks, trains, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate front end loader, bobcat, man‑lift, and track hoe.
- Maintain dozer, skid steer, forklift, track hoe, back hoe, and wheel loader equipment by performing preventive maintenance, i.e.: lubricating, cleaning, adding gear lubricants, changing filters and documenting all activity performed on said piece of equipment.
- Experiencing operating a 924/950/972/980/D8 or D9 wheel loader preferred.
- Experience operating a wheel back hoe, forklift, skid steer, and man lift.
- Able to work around conveyors and assist as needed during vessel off loading or loading operations. Housekeeping and general maintenance as required. Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor.
