Introduction
Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is a leading electrical distributor serving contractors across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate at our Columbia, SC location to ensure efficient order fulfillment and warehouse organization.
Responsibilities- Pulling stock and organizing customer orders
- Pulling and cutting wire
- Unloading and loading CLS transfer trucks with or without forklift
- Checking, recording, and putting up stock/material
- Preparing cross-dock deliveries
- Will call
- Keeping warehouse organized and clean
- Helping other associates when needed
- Following verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Being on time and working diligently with co-workers or alone
- Multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks throughout the day
- Other duties as required
- Good attendance and tardiness history
- Ability to perform accurate work and pay close attention to details
- Positive attitude and teamwork
- Flexibility to multi-task on a regular basis
- Forklift operation required
