Instructional Assistant Position
Under direction of the assigned supervisor and under the immediate supervision of a certificated teacher, assist in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of students in a classroom or an instructional resource setting; prepare instructional materials and perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:
Education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and demonstrated experience in working with youth in an organized setting. Must demonstrate proficiency in basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills by passing the District Instructional Assistant Proficiency examination.
