Job Summary
Provides assistance to Biomed Engineering Technicians by repairing and maintaining all types of medical equipment, including anesthesia equipment, and assists medical and nursing staff in equipment operation. The role also involves assisting with new construction equipment selection and installations and requires willingness to travel to multiple worksites.
Responsibilities- Repairs and maintains all types of medical equipment, including anesthesia equipment.
- Assists medical and nursing staff in the operation and use of equipment.
- Assists with new construction equipment selection and installations.
- Minimum education requirement:
Associate degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field, or a minimum of five years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance. - Minimum experience requirement: 10 years as a Biomedical Engineering Technician.
- Willing and able to travel to multiple worksites.
- Minimum license requirement:
None.
Pay range: $35.84 - $53.88 per hour.
