Senior Living Caregiver

Merrill Gardens at West Covina is accepting applications for Caregivers who will support residents in a caring and dignified environment.

The role involves helping residents with activities of daily living, managing medication, and completing progress reports.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
• CNA license or at least two years of prior caregiver experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
