Senior Living Caregiver
We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents at Merrill Gardens at West Covina, helping them maintain their health and dignity.
Job OverviewAssist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care. Manage medication as allowed by state regulations, complete daily progress reports, and provide ongoing support including charting and exception reporting.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
- Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
- Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (chart by exception).
- Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain.
- CNA license or two years of prior caregiver experience.
- Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
Physical RequirementsThis role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
