Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract assignment supporting a busy accounting team in the Des Moines metro. This role will focus on accounts receivable, reconciliations, collections, and related accounting functions while helping ensure continuity during an employee leave.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments, apply cash, and resolve posting discrepancies.
- Manage commercial collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare invoices and reconcile AR accounts, deposits, and payment activity.
- Research and resolve billing, account, and payment discrepancies.
- Support reporting, unclaimed property processing, and basic AP functions.
