The City of West Des Moines is seeking a Public Safety Applications Administrator to manage mission-critical public safety applications. This role involves working closely with dispatch operations and partner agency personnel while providing proactive maintenance and support for systems including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management Systems (RMS).
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a preferred bachelor's degree in applicable technology, and at least two years of experience in public safety applications. This position requires a degree of independence and initiative in resolving issues and improving system performance in a 24/7 emergency communications environment.
