Operations Manager
Our client, an industry leader in data center operations and construction, is seeking a Construction Manager 5 to join their team. As a Construction Manager 5, you will be part of the DC Operations Field Management supporting strategic project delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Des Moines, IA (onsite)
Pay Range: $76.10 – $83.70
What’s the Job?- Manage multiple construction projects from inception through closeout, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day field activities, including safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
- Review project plans, scope of work, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project walks to monitor progress and quality of work performed.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, preferably with data center fiber installation projects.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, or similar PMIS.
- Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods and safety programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
